Last updated: June 6, 2026

DevignGo ("we", "our", or the "Company") is committed to collecting, using, retaining, and protecting personal data in a reasonable manner in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong and other applicable laws. This page explains how we handle data across our website and MarketGo services.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the DevignGo website, account system, MarketGo product, and related services, including registration, login, subscription, content generation, image generation, platform connections, scheduling, auto-publishing, metrics sync, exports, and support communications.

By using MarketGo, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how we process data under this policy.

2. What Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect the following categories of data:

  • Account and identity data: name, email address, login credentials, account ID, team membership, and role.
  • Subscription and payment data: plan, subscription status, Stripe customer / subscription / session identifiers, payment outcomes, and related billing records. We do not store full card details in our own systems.
  • Workspace and content data: Brand Settings, Competitor Watchlist, Signal Settings, calendars, drafts, platform variants, comments, approvals, revision history, scheduling, and publish state.
  • Assets and files: logos, product images, brand images, reference images, custom publish images, generated images, and related prompts, briefs, and usage records.
  • Social connection data: Facebook Page, Instagram, and Threads account identifiers, authorization tokens, scopes, page or account names, avatars, connection state, and required publish/sync data.
  • Performance and operations data: publish results, impressions, views, likes, comments, shares, saves, and other available metrics.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, basic device/browser information, cookies, session data, logs, quota usage, and security / abuse-prevention signals.
  • Communications data: support requests, email correspondence, form submissions, and operational notices.

3. How We Use Your Data

We may use data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and administer team seats and permissions.
  • To provide, operate, maintain, and protect MarketGo and related services.
  • To handle subscriptions, trials, quotas, purchased image credits, billing reconciliation, and compliance audits.
  • To generate content calendars, post drafts, platform variants, visual briefs, AI images, and related history.
  • To enable platform connections, direct publishing, auto-publishing, and metrics sync.
  • To respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, investigate errors, and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
  • To send service notices, transaction notices, security notices, and, where permitted, marketing communications.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, property, safety, or those of our users and partners.

4. AI Generation and Automated Processing

MarketGo includes text generation, image generation, automated rewriting, platform-variant generation, visual-brief structuring, and other automated recommendation or decision-support flows. To provide these features, prompts, draft content, brand settings, source images, logos, reference images, and related materials may be sent to third-party AI or image providers for processing.

You should not upload content that you do not have the right to use, and you should avoid uploading sensitive personal data, confidential information, or protected third-party data unless clearly necessary and lawful.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for direct publication. You are responsible for reviewing text, images, visible copy, brand consistency, and legal compliance before use or publication.

5. When We Share or Transfer Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data to the following categories of recipients where needed to operate the service or comply with law:

  • Infrastructure and technical service providers, including hosting, databases, queues, caching, file storage, object storage, and content-delivery providers.
  • Payment and subscription service providers such as Stripe for payment processing, subscription handling, and webhook sync.
  • Social platforms and their API providers, including Meta, Instagram, and Threads, for account connection, content publishing, and performance sync.
  • AI and image-processing providers for text generation, image generation, image editing, and related processing.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement providers such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, legal advisers, and regulators, law enforcement, or courts where disclosure is required or appropriate.

Because some vendors, providers, or servers may be located outside Hong Kong, your data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in other jurisdictions.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for login state, security, core site functionality, usage analytics, and operational measurement.

We currently use tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand traffic sources, page views, conversions, and advertising performance. These tools may collect device identifiers, IP address, browsing activity, and event data.

You can manage or block some cookies through your browser settings, but parts of the service, especially login, security, or product features, may not work properly if you do so.

7. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to fulfill the original purposes of collection, provide the service, resolve disputes, perform contracts, and meet legal obligations.

In general, account, workspace, post, asset, generated-image, comment, approval, and operational records are retained while the account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to handle backups, disputes, abuse prevention, and compliance.

Subscription, payment, tax, and accounting records are typically retained for at least seven years or longer if required by applicable law.

Social-platform access tokens and connection data are generally retained until you disconnect the service, delete the account, the token expires, or we no longer need the data for the relevant feature.

8. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical, organizational, and access-control measures to protect data against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or deletion.

However, no internet transmission or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security in every circumstance.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to, correction of, or updates to personal data we hold about you;
  • request deletion of your account or restriction of certain processing, subject to our legal obligations, contractual duties, security needs, and legitimate operational requirements;
  • withdraw consent for direct marketing or unsubscribe from promotional emails;
  • disconnect Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or other linked services;
  • make privacy-related inquiries or complaints.

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, data access or correction requests should be made in writing. We may charge a reasonable administrative fee where permitted by law and will respond within the applicable legal or reasonable timeframe after receiving a valid request.

10. Children

Our services are not primarily directed to children. If you believe a minor has provided personal data without proper authorization, please contact us promptly.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, vendor changes, or operational updates.

The latest version will be posted on this page and the displayed last-updated date will control. If the changes are material, we may also notify you by in-product notice, email, or another reasonable method.
